Mart Technology has used its revolutionary technology to build state-of-the-art sales order, stock management, purchasing and fulfilment systems for Aerospheres UK (www.aerospheres.com), a supplier of time-sensitive materials to the global airline industry.

Bespoke systems were built from scratch and delivered in eight months by one analyst and three developers. Created using MT Studio and Sybase’s SQL Anywhere database, the systems run on a platform comprising Linux, Apache Tomcat and Mart Technology’s application page server.

The systems offer rich desktop-style functionality deployed over the corporate intranet. Additional functionality to be delivered shortly will permit customers to view product, stock and sales history information and place orders over the Internet. Aersopheres derives competitive advantage from affordable leading-edge systems, as well as low costs of ownership and operation.
