MTDesigner is a WYSIWYG graphical tool for the design and layout of forms. It comprises a menu bar, a components tool bar and a workspace in which forms can be created.

Once in the workspace, the components can be moved and manipulated. Their attributes can be modified and actions can be programmed against associated events. Screen designs are rendered in XML which are then embedded within MTIDE pages or viewed through a runtime viewer.
