Although it is possible to control user access to programs without
the MTSecurity tool, its presence makes the task much easier, especially
for enterprises with multiple users with different access rights.
MTSecurity has two parts.
- The first is an administrative tool through which a system administrator
can add, edit and remove users of the system as well as manage
user groups, page groups, access rights and security levels.
- The second is an operational module which handles user authentication
and can be employed to query user access logs.
